
Carlos Coloma and Claudia Galicia compete in La Rioja Bike Race 2019
The sixth edition of La Rioja Bike Race that begins today, May 9, brings together 950 mountain bikers who will face a new exciting challenge with many new features.
The Rioja Bike Race 2019 will have four stages - to continue within the UCI category - that will lead us to discover the best trails in and around Logroño, in the heart of La Rioja. Designed and sponsored by the Olympic medallist Carlos Coloma - who also participates in the competition - it is a guarantee of pure MTB that offers maximum fun.

More than 1000 runners, with the best of the national and international scene, about 200 kms and 6,000 meters of accumulated altitude make the RBR a demanding and spectacular test that every biker must perform.
Everything centralized in the Sports Palace of Logroño, departure, arrival, bike parking, paddock, runner's office, mechanical assistance, massage area, makes that at the end of each stage the comfort is maximum and offers the runner the possibility of enjoying the gastronomy and leisure of a great and wonderful city like Logroño.
The Rioja Bike Race will bring together the best Mountain bikers
Among the participants, we will find the Olympic medallist and Chaoyang ambassador, Carlos Coloma, as well as his teammates BH Templo Cafés. On the one hand, Josep Duran Reig, sub champion of Spain Sub23 Cross Country (XCO), which will compete in the Men's Elite category, and, on the other, Rocío del Alba García, bronze medal in the European Championship sub23 of Cross Country 2018, that will compete in the Elite Women category.
Claudia Galicia, ambassador of Castelli Cycling, will also be present in this edition, competing with her team Megamo Factory in the Elite Women category. Galicia has already won this test up to 5 times, and this edition, her goal is to enjoy it and add kilometres to keep pace with the bike after its excellent ski season.
