24H CYCLO CIRCUIT 2019 WITH CASTELLI AND JUNTAS ES MEJOR

A great show was offered by the more than 300 cyclists who gathered in the historic layout of the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia.

In this fifth edition of the 24-hour Cyclo Circuit, race in which Castelli is an official sponsor, shines an extraordinary atmosphere both in pit and pit line, despite the harsh weather conditions during the first nine hours of competition, in the that the suffocating heat - 38 degrees were reached - and the west wind made the race even more exhausting.

The competition, which was released as evidence of the Spain Ultrafondo Championship, crowned two first-time cyclists as first champions: Ziortza Villa and José Antonio Cavero, both also 12-hour Ultrafund Spain champions.

24 hours with Juntas es Mejor

24 hours go a long way. Paula and Patricia, from Juntas es Mejor, would never have imagined that their chain of favors would come true in such a beautiful and sincere way. This challenge was shared with Castelli and with 22 more friends wanting to overcome, regardless of their physical condition, but, above all, eager to have fun.

From the early hours of the morning, the nerves and the uncertainty of how the competition would develop were intuited in the pits. But his eagerness to have a good time playing sports, no matter what the result, made that at 12:30 p.m., when he lowered the flag that marked the start, Paula and Patricia, gave up the 24 hours of cycling in which they would go happening the relays in the teams “Suma”, “Sigue” and “Sonríe”. 

His particular "Big Brother of 24 hours" was included with companionship, enthusiasm and shared effort to achieve the challenge. In each relay there was no lack of encouragement shouting "together is better", even when night came, the desire and euphoria did not decline.

The competition ended up maintaining the illusion and the spirit "juntero" that was manifested 24 hours before. Paula and Patricia crossed the finish line, never better, together. In addition, the Castelli- Juntas es Mejor “Sonríe” team achieved a third position in the mixed G8 category, celebrating it with great enthusiasm at the podium. The best end point to a great day of complicity and a lot of cycling.

The team competition offered a huge show. Teams like Marbella Cycle Center, Cabberty, Do you Bike and Juntas es Mejor, managed to take the top positions and climb the podium with custom kits from Castelli Servizio Corse.
