NEW CHAOYANG PHANTOM ELITE: THE BH TEMPLE CAFES UCC COMPETES COVERS

Chaoyang expands its range of covers for Cross Country this 2020 with the new Phantom Elite. Two new models - Phantom Dry and Phantom Wet - with which Carlos Coloma, Rocío del Alba García and Pablo Rodríguez, from the BH Temple Cafes UCC team, are running this season with their sights set on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The new covers Phantom Dry and Phantom Wet in its Elite version differ from their normal version, mainly, by the compound and the weight, but also, by the color of the logo, being now red in the new version.

The covers in Elite version are manufactured with the compound E-Bike 25, which has been produced specifically for electric bikes. It has a low rolling resistance and excellent grip at high speed, maintaining its safety in sharp turns. The 25 km / h compound has a better grip and duration.

As for the weight, in the case of the Phantom Wet, they reach approximately 735g, however, in its Elite version, the weight is reduced to 695g. The same applies to the Phantom Dry, which weighs approximately 750g, and in its Elite version, they are reduced to 710g.

The structure with extra-strong folding heel and rubber reinforced side walls is mainly used for the Elite and performance lines, so they are characterized by being tubeless ready, offering a lower possibility of flattening, since there is no tube, and a smaller rolling resistance compared to a tubeless tire.

In addition, they feature SPS (Shark Skin Protection System) side puncture technology, which offers maximum resistance on the flanks, which makes them very resistant to sharp rocks. As well as the basic dual compound 2C-MTB of high performance for mountain tires.

PHANTOM DRY ELITE

For dry conditions anywhere, choose Phantom Dry. Its medium height tread provides great traction and control when braking. Tight studs in the center to minimize rolling resistance, the open space on the flanks provides security and stability across the side. SEE PRODUCT

PHANTOM WET ELITE

When the weather becomes more unpredictable, Phantom Wet is the perfect tire. The higher heels with more intermediate space allow curves to be taken with confidence in wet and loose conditions.
