CHALLENGE JUNTAS ES MEJOR: 24 HOURS CYCLO CIRCUIT WITH CASTELLI
The enthusiasm and shared effort in each challenge of Juntas es Mejor, leads them to get on the bike with 22 people to participate in the 24 hours Cyclo Circuit 2019 in Valencia by Castelli.
Juntas es Mejor has a new challenge and this time on wheels. They will get on their bikes on July 27 and 28, with 22 more people, to participate in the 24 hours against the clock of the Cheste Circuit in Valencia.
Friendship, sports and fun are joined by Paula Lorente and Patricia López in a new objective of their chain of favors. They have managed to form three teams of women and men of all ages and physical condition in which they will prioritize the help and improvement between them, in addition to their desire to have fun playing sports. The members, by relays, will try to complete as many laps as possible during the whole day, and of course, also the night.
Juntas es Mejor, through its chain of sporting challenges they have helped hundreds of women and men in challenges of running, triathlon, swimming and cycling, and each time, their support network is getting bigger and bigger, since as a consideration only They ask that these people help others. Just two months ago, they participated together with 35 women in the super sprint modality of the Marítim Triathlon.
Juntas es Mejor is enthusiasm, shared effort and challenges to meet, always thinking on sports.
Paula and Patricia are both graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, friends and crazy passionate about physical activity and healthy habits, as well as the benefits that these and sport can manifest in society.
In the summer of 2015, a trip to Germany, by bike and with saddlebags, introduced them to a chain of favors that would change their lives completely.
That trip made them reflect, even more, on the way of understanding the world and led to the creation of the project, which through a "chain of sporting dreams" helps people - whatever their physical condition - to know and look forward to the sports field.
Through sports meetings, talks, workshops, challenges and their social networks and blogs, these two Valencian university teachers have managed to create a revolutionary sports movement that uses sport as an instrument of teaching values.
To promote and teach these values, encourage feminine and inclusive sports and achieve, through a chain of favors, the fulfillment of dreams and sporting challenges, are some of its objectives.
During the almost four years of the project, they have been awarded several prizes, among which the “Premio al Mérito Deportivo de la Ciudad de Valencia” stands out as the entity that most promotes popular sports and the “Premio Levante”, together with outstanding entities and sportsmen like Valencia CF and David Ferrer, among others.
